Building owners and owners of real estate management, development, and leasing companies receive significant value through BOMA Georgia. As the largest and most dynamic membership association for commercial real estate property managers, facility managers, asset managers, building engineers, and property safety and security professionals in the state, owners are assured their teams have access to the best educational programs and resources available.

BOMA Georgia also ensures the interests of building and real estate company owners are well represented in state and local legislative and regulatory processes. The association actively advocates on behalf of the industry at the state legislature, state executive branch, regulatory bodies, and monitors issues at the county and city level as well. BOMA Georgia also has appointed representatives serving on the City of Atlanta Technical Advisory Committee; Georgia Office of Insurance and Safety Fire Elevator Advisory Board; and the Georgia Department of Community Affairs Permissive Codes Task Force. The association has also filed amicus briefs on behalf of the real estate industry at the state supreme court.

On the federal level, BOMA International’s advocacy staff represents the real estate industry before the United States Congress, federal agencies, and codes and standards development organizations.

BOMA membership also provides owners with access to building recognition programs that set the standard for excellence in the real estate industry.
